Terms of Use
What you are buying when you buy here, and what Sartori Audio commits to delivering.
1. Who is on the other side
This site is operated by [RAZÃO SOCIAL — preencher], registered under Brazilian company number (CNPJ) [CNPJ — preencher], with its seat at [ENDEREÇO COMPLETO — preencher], trading as Sartori Audio. The official contact is contato@sartoriaudio.com, and support is available on WhatsApp at +55 11 98912 2420.
By creating an account, buying a product or hiring a service, you accept these Terms. If you disagree with any of it, write to the contact above before completing the purchase.
2. What is sold here
Three different things, with different rules:
- Studio services — editing, mixing, mastering and building the playback, MIDI and in-ear rig. Hired case by case, with a written quote.
- Plugins — software that is licensed, not sold. The licence is in section 6.
- Courses — access to recorded lessons and the material that comes with them.
The price, deadline and scope of each item are the ones shown on the product page or in the accepted quote at the time of purchase.
3. Your account
The account exists so you can follow deliveries, watch the courses and manage your plugin licences. It is personal and non-transferable.
Use the same email as your order: that is how a purchase finds your account. The password is your responsibility — if you suspect someone else got in, tell the studio and the access is locked.
You can close your account whenever you like by writing to the contact above. Closing the account does not cancel licences you have already bought, nor refund what you paid.
4. Purchase and payment
Payments for plugins and courses are processed by Hotmart, which issues the charge, handles the payment methods and is what shows up on your statement. When you buy, you are also accepting Hotmart’s terms.
Sartori Audio never receives or stores your card details. Access is released when Hotmart confirms the payment, and it arrives at the email used on the order.
Studio services are quoted and charged directly, on the terms agreed in writing before the work starts.
5. Withdrawal and refunds
You have 7 calendar days, counted from the purchase or from the moment access is released — whichever is later — to withdraw from a plugin or a course and get everything back, with no need to justify. This is the right of withdrawal under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code.
To exercise it, ask through Hotmart or write to the contact above. The refund goes back through the same payment method, within the processor’s own timeframe.
Studio services work differently, because the work is bespoke: whatever has already been carried out and delivered is owed. Cancelling before the work starts refunds the full amount.
A defect is a different matter and is not bound by the 7 days: if the plugin does not work as advertised, the deadlines in article 26 of the Consumer Code apply, and the defect is fixed, the product replaced or the amount refunded.
6. Plugin licence
Buying a plugin gives you a personal, lifetime, non-exclusive licence to use it, valid on up to 3 active devices at a time. Swapping one device for another is done in the client area and takes effect immediately.
Updates within the same major version (the 1.x line, for example) are included. A following major version may be a new product with its own price — and when it is, notice comes beforehand.
What the licence does not allow:
- Reselling, renting, lending or distributing the plugin, whether or not you charge for it.
- Sharing your licence key with anyone who is not you.
- Decompiling, altering or removing the licence check.
The music you make with the plugin is entirely yours. There is no royalty, no mandatory credit and no limit on commercial use.
If the licence is used outside these rules, Sartori Audio may suspend it. Before any suspension, you are notified in writing.
7. Courses
Buying a course gives you personal access to the lessons and the material, through your account. Courses on pre-sale release lessons as production advances, and you get every lesson that is part of the course you bought.
Recording, redistributing or showing the lessons to third parties is not allowed. Using what you learned in them, on any work of your own, is.
8. Studio services
Each track lands in the client area for you to listen, ask for changes (the recall) or approve. Unless the quote says otherwise, each track includes 3 recall rounds; additional rounds cost R$ 90 each.
Approving a track closes its rounds and releases the final files. After that, further changes are new work.
Deadlines depend on you sending the complete material and answering the recalls; they run from the moment the sessions are received. Project files are kept for 12 months after final delivery — after that, keep your own copy.
The rights to your music remain entirely yours. The work may be credited in the portfolio once it is released, and you can ask for it not to be — just say so.
9. Intellectual property
The plugin source code, the course content, the copy, the design and the Sartori Audio brand are owned by the studio and remain protected by Brazilian laws 9.610/1998 and 9.609/1998.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of it. What you receive is the right to use, within the limits described above.
10. Availability and changes
The site and the client area are kept up as far as possible, with no promise of uninterrupted service: maintenance, third-party failure and force majeure happen. The plugins run offline after activation, so an outage here does not take your show down.
These Terms may change. When a change affects something you have already bought, notice comes by email at least 30 days in advance, and the old version keeps governing your purchase.
11. Liability
Sartori Audio is liable for defects in the products and services under the Brazilian Consumer Code. No clause in this document removes that duty, and if any clause appears to, it does not stand.
What cannot be guaranteed is an artistic or commercial outcome: mixing is a craft, not a formula, and the same goes for what you do with the plugin.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. There is no chosen forum: as a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own domicile, as guaranteed by article 101, I of the Brazilian Consumer Code.
Before any of that, write to the studio. The overwhelming majority of problems are solved in one message.
13. Prevailing version
This document exists in Portuguese and in English. If the two versions disagree, the Portuguese version prevails.
